While at the vigil of the late vocalist and famous song writer Radio Mowzey where a mammoth of mourners convened to pay the last respects to the late, many speakers were given chances to talk about Radio and here is when Frank Gashumba got a chance to hold the microphone and started by praising Radio saying he is the rare talent he has ever met. And on a sad note, he asked the former manager of his Balaam to learn from Radio’s killing and stay alert.
Gashumba started by attacking promoter Balaam who was telling the media how president Museveni had contributed 20 million shillings towards the burial arrangements and how the president promised to feed the mourners for three days and Gashumba asked him to stop praising Museveni because if he was a great president he would have built several hospitals and Radio could not be moved from Entebbe where he was beaten from to Kampala city center to look for good hospital something that lead to his death.
He again moved on to attack the government by asking where the reports of getting the killers of these talented artistes naming AK47, Danz Kumapeesa and Radio saying that the government knows who kills them. “You should ask for security to protect our lives not praising Museveni for having contributed to the burial arrangements” Gashumba blasted Balaam.
“Tell your Museveni that we do not want food, we want security and want to know who is killing our artistes” Frank Gashumba furiously sent the direct message to the president and to know that his points were heard loud, the whole crowd applauded him and the Emcee of the night after grabbing the microphone back from Gashumba said that what Gasumba said was reality. He later left the vigil venue after his speech and wished Radio a peaceful rest.
