A few weeks ago, a Kenyan Sports betting company know as SportsPesa came out and showed interest of opening up branches in Uganda but never did we know that they were this serious after even meeting the president of Uganda himself HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Apparently, Sports Pesa bosses met up president Museveni today morning to discuss matters concerning them opening up branches in Uganda as a way of investing and widening the youths brains.
Museveni agreed to their terms and working conditions then they gifted him with a football and a Sportspesa customized Jersey both signed on by Everton FC coach.
“Met investors from the SportsPesa company who were accompanied by Ugandan football administrators, at State House, Entebbe.” said President Museveni.
“The group seeks to help the government empower the youth through football & increase revenue by strictly regulating betting.
I thank them for my gift of a ball and a shirt autographed by the Everton FC manager Ronald Koeman.” he added.
