Musician Bobi Wine has spent some maiden time of his Wednesday afternoon 24th January 2018 with the ghetto youth on a splendid Ugandan parliamentary tour as a way of inspiring them to generate that zeal of following his roots as the future parliamentarians.
The ‘Aidah’ hit maker who turned also in politics currently representing the Kyadondo East constituency in the Ugandan august house took on the ghetto youth on worthwhile tour into the parliamentary chambers to learn more about the business that takes place at the home of the law makers.
According to MP Bobi Wine, he is optimistic that inspiring youth to turn into leaders through such visits will be key in his bid of outnumbering bad minded politicians who make painful decisions that cost the country.
“Today, I took the #GhettoYouth for a tour at Parliament. I wanted to inspire them to aspire to come to this p-lace. If it’s about numbers, then we must outnumber the bad minded politicians who make painful decisions for us. If we are the majority, why then can’t we use our numbers, “affirmed MP Bobi Wine.
The 2nd Annual Parliament Week 2018 will that kick started on Monday 22nd January 2018 runs under the theme: Parliament the Voice of the People.
